Find solutions to make technology accessible and simple, but never simplistic.
Many things. Biolinguistics in birds, phonetics, and behavioural biology in general. Experimental psychology and psychophysics. System administration and statistics. And in the last three years before TC I was hunting down evil bacteria with the computer: identify species of bacteria and their resistance to antibiotics based on proteomic and genomic data. But everything always was about making sense of data (lots of, sometimes) and present it to humans in an intuitive way.
The whole working environment encourages building on experience and not stop there. Think out of the box, find creative solutions together with people from completely different backgrounds.
Whether it concerns colleagues or customers: When helping people solve a problem, try to understand the problem better than they do. This drives innovation. And crazy new ideas. And therefore fun.
