Volvo Ocean Race is an interactive installation meant to educate visitors on how hyper-connected systems boost the productivity of logistics services. Today, customers aren’t sure how exactly better technology, connectivity and automation can streamline and optimise their industry. The installation delivers a story that is engaging and easy to grasp.
Visitors are easily distracted and grabbing their attention was critical. The playful and intriguing use of tangible and digital artifacts made the experience engaging and attracted a lot of visitors allowing them to quickly learn and experiment with different solutions together.
The installation uses Augmented Reality & NFC technology to create a bridge between the physical experience and a digital interface. Our designers and developers have built the applications in Unity and created all links between the physical and digital world.
