I’m a strategist which means I act as a bridge between design, development and clients long-term strategies. This involves securing that the product strategies are aligned with the clients’ long-term strategies (or R&D strategies). It can also involve driving project efforts in defining scope, assessing feasibility of product strategies, planning, executing and reporting.
I’ve been working as a management consultant for the past 4 years. My main experience has been within industrial firms in various IT projects involving transforming processes, IT sourcing, data analysis or developing IT strategies.
A key difference for me is the creative freedom and experimental culture that is encouraged here. I’m also amazed at how quickly an idea can be converted into a digital or physical product. Further, I also value that each project team is composed of different skillsets from design, development and strategy. For me this contributes to a dynamic and interesting working environment but I also believe it allows us to effectively support clients in carrying out a full product development journey, from idea to market.
I value the mix of cultural backgrounds and skillsets since it gives us different perspectives and challenges us to continuously learn from one another. The fact that we usually have a dedicated project team per client means we’re allowed to take responsibility for the end-to-end client relationship but also contributes to a team-centric and collaborative work culture.
I love travelling with friends, experiencing new food cultures and outdoor adventures in nature, such as surfing and cross country skiing. I also enjoy practicing different forms of yoga since I find it’s a nice way of balancing a busy lifestyle. Jessica.png
